Emilie Schario is an expert in scaling Data Analysts while being responsive to the hypergrowth of the business. As Data Engineer, Analytics at GitLab, she’s overseen 3x growth in the Data function in the last 12 months. She is a contributor to many open source projects including dbt, Meltano, and, of course, GitLab. When not behind a computer, Emilie can be found in her local CrossFit box or volunteering with Operation Code, codebar, or MilSpouse Coders.An Army wife, Emilie lives in Savannah, GA with her husband Casey. Emilie is a Princeton University and Venture for America Alumna.

–old Emilie Schario is a data professional by day, blogger by night, CrossFitter by early morning, and Army Wife all the time in between. She was the first Data Analyst at GitLab, where they’ve seen the data team more than double in a year. Emilie is a proud member of TechSAV, Hostess City Toastmasters, CrossFit High Tide, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma alumnae chapter and a volunteer coach with the Savannah codebar chapter. She is a Princeton University and Venture for America Alumna.
